Event to come in Salisbury!

Something on the calender this year I definitely don't want to miss is the final farewell for the Wilts and Dorset Bristol VRs. This event will take place at the end of the month on March 28th between 9:00am and 6:00pm. This will see one of the last major operators of the VR die out. And I think I'm right in saying the last major company still to run the in the Southwest, apart from the odd one of 2 here and there across the southwest. I definitely recommend a look to Dave Courtnage's excellent site which will keep you well updated on all Bristol VR happenings in the southwest. http://geocities.com/ndl642m/

Extra information for you is that the day tickets will be £7.50 for Adults and £4.50 for children.

Train tickets from Plymouth are £46 return for adults and £23 return for Children, both obviously cheaper with a railcard. Fairly expensive yes.

Picture shown is one of the VRs in Poole last Summer, now likely in a scrapyard of the southwest.
