Smart Dart!

With thanks to Tom Pearce I can bring you a couple of lovely shots of the first of the newly painted Dennis Darts that Target Travel have recently acquired. These are the first bought by the company to have Pointer 2 bodywork, and indeed the body suits the livery well. The slightly lighter green also improves it and you can directly compare it to the Dart sitting behind the bus in which the difference in shade is clearly evident. I think we can presume by the paper number in the window that the destination display isn't currently yet working, but indeed she does look very smart.

Wouldn't be Target without the 'Customary' Windscreen Paper Decoration.

Do any of their destination blinds work?

Surely it couldn't have been that difficult for the fleet names on the side and rear to be in the same colour?..

Great to see Target investing in their fleet - what company do they buy their destination blinds from, or are they 'self-created'? (I don't mean the bit of paper!)

I hope they banish their gopping pink liveried buses soon. They look awful and tacky, the green/white looks far more professional!

@Anon 10:10, yes how true, hadn't noticed that, well spotted. }

@Anon 15:55, a majority of the blinds come with the bus, although a couple are sourced from wherever they're available from really. That's why we see such a variety of different blinds on the Target fleet.

I understand the blinds on these aren't yet in use because they haven't been re-programmed, which takes place at Stagecoach.
