Sprosed up ex

News on ex-Torpoint Leyland Olympian now serving in her last years down in Penzance has been spruced up again. Only about two years ago she was re-painted and cleaned out when she came down to serve in Torpoint. Well she was had another re-paint but sadly looks the same as all the other Olympians as the depot down there haven't bothered to paint her grill like they did in Plymouth. I think you'll agree it doesn't look as good as when the grill was white. And they have given the interior a general clean up and is looking fine in her last days of service. Well at least I presume that theses are her last years. Same with all the Olympians. Problem is what they will replace them with when it does happen. There are plenty of disused step entrance Darts and Varios but they do need some double deackers. Who knows. They might just have to keep them going. Should have kept the VRs aswell.

y'know, I prefer it when they leave the grille unpainted, also if they paint it there can be problems with paint blocking the radiator and overheating.

This article was stolen

How can it be stolen idiot, it in his own handwriting style. If you want to prove this then tell us where he allegedly nicked it from then. Since you haven't, you MUST be lying.

It was taken from myself - i know Laurence personally. I publish a transport magazine, and this was one of the exclusive items that I researched for this weeks edition.

Before i could publish it however - 'idiot' - it appeared on this website.

I find it very sad that you cannot take the lighthearted comment - which it was intended to be, in the correct way!

PS I take it that the word 'it', is supposed to read 'its'?

sorry, ok?
I have been witness to several bloggers being maliciously attacked for no reason, so I assumed wrong and posted that comment...and it is its, but I'm getting used to a new keyboard at the moment as my old one was crap.

Mr Farley I will let you know I would have found out that lunchlime if you had given me the oppotunity to use a computer and would have found out the story.

thought he sounded like a teacher-corrected my spelling!

Dear Mr Mayhew,

You would not have found out that lunchtime! How would you have found out about the bodywork repairs, or the some of the seats being reupholstered? The only thing that you would have realised, is that the grille had been repainted?

never go up against a teacher-I can tell you as a person who passed his GCSE's a few months back.

why didn't you post as "mr farley" before? Would have made more sense...

Mr Farley.

I would have know about the other stuff as this is a standard procedure with all re vampted buses as these iron out any problems the buses have. And of course I knew what was going to have to be done to her therefore I could presume that these jobs would have been done in her refit
